Let’s do it again!

The ride was pretty fun this month, so let’s do it again this week.  And… this Friday is also “First Friday” – so that means the local art walk tour is going on.  I think we should definitely try to make it a bike ride/art walk something or other.  So, see you at 6:30, at the Boobie Trap!

Riding bikes in the city is fun!

We had 11 people on the ride yesterday, including four brand new riders.  It was fun!  We rode from the Boobie Trap to Tad’s Tropical Sno and stopped for some shaved ice.  From there, we headed downtown, and then looped back to the Trap.  We stopped in for a couple beers, then headed off to Tortilla Jack’s for some late tacos, and then about half of us later convened at Steve’s house party.  And we’re doing it again next week - same place, same time.  It’s summer, so we might as well!

Time Change – Critical Mass, 7/25

So… it’s July.  In Kansas.  Let’s not bike at 5:30… let’s ride at 6:30.  Same deal, just and hour later.  And we could maybe ride over to Tad’s Tropical Sno (Huntoon and Gage isn’t that far) for some shaved ice!

Critical Mass, Friday, 7/25

Let’s ride our bikes through the city on this month’s CRITICAL MASS! That’s right, a group ride through the city, on the streets. It’s summer… it’s nice out… it’s time to get on two wheels and go spin around.

We can decide the route once we are all fully assembled.

Bring a few bucks for drinks afterward, if you’re into that.

If you’re new to Critical Mass, the idea is just to get together and ride once a month – for fun, to go green, for bicycle safety/awareness, whatever you want. In big cities, they get thousands of riders… that’s what we’re working on here in Topeka!
